Hey ya’ll! I hope you all had good weekends. Right now, I’m midway on the 4-hour ride home from South Carolina. JOY! JK, it was worth it; we had a great time at my stepbrother’s soccer tournament. They did great and came in second place! It was just my stepmom, my step-brothers and I. I never realized this, but they are really funny when you put them together in a car for an extended period of time. The music blasts, volume in HIGH, with all the windows rolled down and the wind roaring and whipping at you. It’s a great change!
There were 4 games (I went to 3) and man was it hot! I can feel the low fever of sunburn starting on my face and chest; it was my first good taste of summer in months. I go at least 6 good hours of fresh air and sunshine. Not to mention, I realized that I really do like soccer. There is so much more action in soccer than football because they never stop playing. I think this proves I should be British, heck; they should just make me a citizen! :)
Saturday was the best, I slept in then Wes and I hung out (while Gary –the oldest- and my stepmom were at his 1st game) around the hotel. I worked on my W.H, project, then we all had lunch and headed to the field. They tied that game; it was against a really good team. We left there, went back to the hotel then walked to dinner. Back at the hotel later, I Skyped RuRu, Chibi and Audrey.
The thing was, I had to go out to the stair well because everyone was watching a movie back in the room. There were sooooo many little kids (who were also there to play soccer) and they were running around everywhere, playing hotel tag. Let me just say, hotel tag is about the best game ever – you get the whole hotel just to run around and act crazy. Some of the kids were really nice- they thought it was wired that I was in the stairwell, but whatever- but some were really rude! Especially this one in a red shirt who was plain out mean- LOL, it was F-U-N-N-Y!!!
