Hey guys!! Did you know that today is Star Spangled Banner Day? In 1814, Fort McHenry was successfully defended against a bombing by English ships. This inspired Francis Scott Key to write the Star Spangled Banner. It's well known as a patriotic song to the tune of a popular English drinking song, To Anacreon in Heaven. Although the song has four verses, only the first is commonly sung today. From now on, I'll tell you an interesting piece of information every day. This is my new goal!! I'll say that bit of info. first thing in every post, so if you ever notice that I didn't put one down, please comment!!!! For homework today, I've got:
English: pg24 in my Vocab book; 2nd draft of an essay; Read pgs 77-110 of Fahrenheit 451 do a After You Read thingy (AYR), and finally, study for a vocab. quiz on Monday.
Health: Softball quiz on Thursday
Algebra+: (all from my textbook) pg 77(74-79); pg 135(22-40even and 42-51); pg142(24-44even and 50-53). That's 38 questions total.
Housing and Interiors: None :] We got to go all throughout the campus to find different things that had to do with Universal Housing (which is basically housing that suits all people, including all kinds of handicaps), like ramps, railing, flashing lights (fire alarms), Braille, handicap parking, help buttons in the stairwells, level floors, nonslip stairs and floors, etc. It was a lot of fun, and we got candy!!
Well, got to go do my homework, and then I'm watching Gossip Girl :)

PS. I finished Angels and Demons by Dan Brown---FASCINATING!!!!!! Truly, a great read :)
